Our Faith
Our Faith
The Holy Apostolic Catholic Church Of The East faith is based on description as set in the Nicene Creed. It is is a statement of the orthodox faith.
The Nicene Creed is a profession of faith that is most widely used in Christian liturgy. The church believes in One Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Nicene Creed teaches us that the Only-begotten Son of God became incarnate for us and for our salvation. The Nicene Creed forms basis of our prayer. Below is part of this statement:
“Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end”
